Raffaele came to Canada from a small fishing village in Sicily, while studying Computer Science and Mathematics.  After a number of years as a small business owner, he chose to pursue a career in art.

His journey to become an Academic artist has been challenging.  In 2012, Raffaele graduated from the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto. Through this and other experiences, Raffaele has come to understand that it is only through full dedication to one's craft that you can become a master.

Raffaele works and teaches classical drawing and painting techniques from his studio in Mississauga, Ontario, and through FASM in Milton.  Visit www.fasm.ca/workshops for more information.
